Wanda Choate

I paint because I have to, it is a calling, ~ I cannot imagine my life without art. Art is life ~ the expression of all that I love about life. My paintings are places I've already walked, moments I've had. The sun on a horse and Kimono ~ clad rider, manes flying, of hounds braying, and cold winds, a small child reading, zinnias and hydrangeas and tomatoes hot in the sun.
